Want to get hands-on and help keep Kevin Hoffman Walk looking its best? Our Working Bees are a great way to lend a hand, meet others, and enjoy a couple of hours in the fresh air. Tasks vary each month and may include raking, weeding, removing debris, topdressing paths, and mulching garden beds—every bit of help counts!
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just enjoy being outdoors, there’s a job for everyone. And with a welcoming team and a cuppa waiting at the end, you’ll feel part of something special.
Here’s what you need to know:
🌿 When: Mostly last Sunday of each month, 8:30–10:30 am
🌿 Where: Meet at the green container on Walkers Road
🌿 What to bring: Gloves, a water bottle, and insect repellent (if desired)
🌿 What we provide: Tools, guidance, and good company
🌿 Weather watch: Check our social media for updates in case of cancellation
🌿 Acknowledgement: With permission, we love recognising volunteers in our newsletter and on social media
🌿 No pressure: Come when you can—once, or as often as suits you
