Book a Walking Tour

If you’ve ever wanted to learn more about the Kevin Hoffman Walk — from its origins to its thriving native garden today — booking a guided tour is a wonderful way to experience it.

Our group tours are hosted by committee members of the Friends of Kevin Hoffman Walk, usually Beverley and Linda, who love sharing the stories, plants, and birdlife that make the Walk so special. Whether you’re part of a garden club, school group, social club or simply a group of friends, we’d love to take you on a stroll and show you around.

What to Expect

Tours generally run for about an hour at a relaxed walking pace. Along the way, you’ll learn about:

  • The history of the Walk and how it came to be
  • Kevin Hoffman’s vision and legacy
  • Seasonal highlights in the native and indigenous plantings
  • The role of Hovells Creek and the importance of habitat
  • Birds and wildlife that call the Walk home

We tailor each tour to suit your group’s interests and are happy to adjust the pace or content as needed.

If your group has time, we also offer morning or afternoon tea after the walk — kindly hosted by Beverley. It’s a lovely way to pause, reflect, and chat in a peaceful setting.

How to Book

There is no charge to join a tour, and you are very welcome to come along whether or not you choose to make a donation. If you do feel moved to contribute, donations are always gratefully received — they help us continue caring for the Walk and offering experiences like this to the community.

To request a tour, please complete our Group Tour Booking Form. We’ll be in touch to confirm the details and arrange a time that works for your group.

Come for a walk — and leave with a deeper appreciation of native gardening, community care, and the unique story of this special place.

We look forward to welcoming you.
