Our final Snap, Chat & Stroll in this special series is set to finish on a beautiful note, with a late afternoon session designed to capture the softer tones and golden evening light of the Walk.
Join us on Monday 11 May from 4.15pm to 5.15pm as local photography enthusiast Elisa Banas once again guides a relaxed one hour wander through the Kevin Hoffman Walk, sharing simple tips and creative ideas along the way.
Whether you use a phone or a camera, this is a welcoming and enjoyable opportunity to slow down, look a little closer, and experience the Walk through a photographer’s eye.
A Different Time of Day, A Different Perspective
The Walk changes beautifully throughout the day, and late afternoon often brings warm light, gentle shadows, and a calm atmosphere that can transform an ordinary photo into something special.
This session is perfect for anyone wanting to learn how light can shape an image, improve composition, and add a little extra magic to their photography.
A Great Opportunity for the Photo Competition
With our 2026 Photo Competition now open, this stroll is the perfect chance to gather inspiration and perhaps even capture a future entry.
This year’s theme is The Magic of the Walk, and evening light may just help reveal it.
The competition is open to amateur and hobbyist photographers from our local community and across Geelong and surrounding areas, with entries closing on 30 June 2026.
