2025 Photo competition

Our 2025 Annual Photo Competition is now officially open!

Open to amateur and hobbyist photographers, this year’s theme is:

“Textures of the Walk”

Winning entries will be featured in our 2026 calendar—our major annual fundraiser that helps keep the Walk thriving for everyone to enjoy.

Please note: This competition is for hobbyist and amateur photographers only. Entrants must not earn a regular income from photography or photographic services. Occasional photo sales or reimbursement (e.g. taking photos for a local club or event) may be acceptable, provided the individual does not promote themselves as a professional photographer or earn a primary or significant secondary income through photography.
This competition relies on the honesty and integrity of entrants. If you’re unsure whether you’re eligible, please reach out — we’re happy to help clarify.

We welcome photographers of all skill levels who simply enjoy taking photos for the love of it. This competition is all about celebrating creativity, nature, and community—so if that sounds like you, we’d love you to take part!

Step 1 – Download the Guide

Before entering, please ensure you’re familiar with the competition rules by downloading a copy of the guide.

Step 2 – Select 4 Photos

Choose four photos from your existing portfolio—or head out with your camera to capture something new! Just be sure your entries meet the guide’s criteria.

Step 3 – Complete the Entry Form

Fill in the form below, attach your four photos (plus any required evidentiary photos), and submit your entry by 11:50pm on June 30, 2025.
